>if you didn’t fit into a “tribe” you could be ostracized and die. This is something that is evolutionary and fortunately we’re now entering into the *opposite* era

To emphasize. Fitting in will now literally kill you (odds).

-lifestyle choices (alcohol/drunk driving, pot, STDs, obesity, sedentary lifestyle, iatrogenics, meat)

-stress from financial worries (no/wrong education, lack of work ethic, caving in to peer pressure to be mediocre, ego/dishonesty)

-epidemics (every midwit an infectious disease expert, forced to have physical contact with masses if poor, public transport, industrial era jobs, etc.)

-joining political groups, street gangs, the military

-ignorance (if they beat your passion and curiosity out of you, now you don't have a chance at learning the truth about anything important)

Nearly forgot. Branding countries not aligned with the US system "dangerous" so you don't travel outside of the consumer/tourist bubble and learn anything from outside your culture.

Hands down the best post I've read from BTB. It ties directly in what my close group has always said regarding my work ethic, "slow down, live life" "You're only in your 20's once"
