Welcome Avatar! We have a lot of brand new readers here who haven’t had the chance to even read our FAQ yet! We suggest they take a look there. That said the world is continuing to change pretty quickly so we’re going to outline some things that will help the newbies understand what this is all about. Autist note: long time readers can just skip section 1 but other sections will be of value to you.
Section 1 - Summary
The World is Rapidly Changing: We’re not here to tell you that you can’t catch up. In fact we think you’re still quite early if you’re smart enough to “skate to where the puck is going to be” (Wayne Gretzky - NHL player quote). In general, if you can figure out where the mega trends are and where the big picture is heading you’re going to be fine in life.
Right now we’re here because we want to build one of the first legitimate decentralized communities. It won’t be easy but the growth and support have been nothing but positive energy and vibes! While our closet haters will say we haven’t made it yet (we’ve made it many times over), our goal is redistribute money we make here to help fund smart/talented anons online. Paid sub understand this big framework from earlier this year.
What is Changing? Well last year the fiat system decided to print Trillions of US Tokens. Trillions. This means that prices of all assets/goods are going up in price. While most said it was “not going to happen” this was delayed because the economy was shut all of 2020. In 2021? You’re simply lying to yourself if you don’t see it in food/gas/rent costs.
This doesn’t matter to rich people because the 1% of wealth is not even related to 1% of income. It’s an elaborate scam to focus on income when the real issue is *wealth* inequality.

Section 2 - How to Adapt
Learn to Ask “Is This True”: We have been writing for over a decade and one of the most common quotes we had was “It is better to be punched in the face with the truth than kissed with a lie” - (rough meaning from a Russian proverb - probably explains attractiveness of the women they know guys like attractive girls and… oh yeah wait back to the post)
What is a “Mean” Person? Is it mean to tell someone they shouldn’t go into sales because they aren’t good and they should go into coding because they *are* good OR…. lying to them and nicely saying “follow their dreams” of going into sales? The first guy is the nice one as he identified a real option! The second guy is the actual terrible person as he led the guy off a cliff and ruined his future for a decade.
Example? We have laid out doctor/lawyer incomes vs. Business Owners, Wall Street and Tech. The media tells you lawyers and doctors are “rich” but then you look at the real math and realize that it just doesn’t add up. Making $400K a year after 8 years of debt + schooling is not going to catch an Investment Banking VP who averaged $500K a year or more just 6 years out of undergrad (less debt!)
Autist Note: the prior sentence is just about becoming rich, we realize that some people want to become doctors. We’re just talking about numbers you can put into an excel sheet and do yourself.
“Is This True”: Most of the time we delude ourselves into thinking something is true because our feelings/emotions get in the way. We’re not telling you to be an emotionless robot in your personal life. However. We are telling you to be closer to an emotionless robot in your *work* life. In the end, work/money is about aligning the correct incentives.
As a rule of thumb, if you’re bothered by someone who is giving you a direct answer it means you know deep down that there may be some truth to it. Better check it out and see if it is true.
Time to Combine! Incentives and Truth! The way you can find good information is to simply ask what their incentives are and what their history is. Sure. You’re reading a random cartoon anon. However. We’ve built a pretty good audience over a decade and have helped hundreds of people become millionaires. That means at least you know the money part works.
We can use another example. Instead of talking about us… How about the stuff people watch on TV. Who owns the TV stations? Is that guy a billionaire? Jeff Bezos bought the Washington Post… would the Washington Post tell you *the truth* about Amazon? Nah.
The last one we talk about a lot is sports. If you’re the #1 athlete in the world or the #3 athlete in the world (for many sports) the pay check difference is *multiples*. So. Ask yourself, would you take any and every performing enhancing substance to make sure you are perfectly maxed out? Would you? The difference is life changing money in a year or potentially getting hurt and losing out on 8-9 figures… (yes, PEDs help prevent injuries)
Once again, no need to listen to us but it’s good to ask these questions.
People do crazy illogical things for love vs. money so we will leave that separate (this site is focused on making *you* wealthier).
Conclusion/Summary: If you get the jist of the above, then you just follow the incentive structure over a longer time horizon. One of the major reasons we’re here (crypto related) is that we were in the right place at the right time (tech focus background + have institutional contacts). If we know big money is coming…. We all know what that means in terms of what is likely to happen.
Final Note: After you develop the basic framework, you will avoid the vast majority of scams: status signals, most colleges, interest rates at 0.01% and more! After that? You can move onto building up your own confidence which requires taking action and less chatting.
Section 3 - Jungle $$ Announcements
It has been quite fun seeing a handful of people gain traction! Congrats. On that note we’re announcing the first ever Cartoon Anon awards. Yes, that’s right. We’re going to come up with five “awards” worth $100 in BTC/ETH each!
Award Ideas: 1) best troll - pretty sure BowTiedAce/BowTiedRat will win that one, 2) best meme, 3) most turbo autist tweet, 4) most improved anon and 5) whoever can find the most NGMI tweet on twitter - good luck with that one! If you have other ideas we’re all ears. This will commence the final week of the year. We’ll also find a way to have the award winners hashed into the Ethereum blockchain forever.
Trolling Continues: If you’re in Bangkok Thailand, please go and visit Citigroup! They agree Banks Are Zeros and this will run until November 4! Surely the manager is pleased.
Section 4 - Regular News!
It has been a wild Monday. You had Aaron Rodgers jump on the Bitcoin train. We had the stable token documentation drop. We had Morgan Stanley “Launch” on crypto (they even had to say “… a few examples” since they know they missed a ton). Also. Apparently, Robinhood is an exchange despite being unable to withdraw any computer coins. Topshot is also an NFT market place!
We’ll cover the real implications on the paid Substack on Wednesday but for the free stuff all we can say right now is that this is in-line with what we expected. We’ll be sure to read the entire stable coin document and go through all the issues/hiccups as well.
Wild Monday! To try to stay focused on the Q&A let us know if you have some good award ideas!
Disclaimer: None of this is to be deemed legal or financial advice of any kind. These are *opinions* written by an anonymous group of Ex-Wall Street Tech Bankers who moved into affiliate marketing and e-commerce.
Daily Reminder: You ARE EARLY. Too much negativity/cope. Everyone reading this is extremely early. If you stay on top of technology, there is always a new opportunity.
So everyone is clear we need award ideas. We'll take submissions around Mid December!
I think an award for a Tweet / prediction from a BowTied that aged the best over time could be cool. If they made a super accurate prediction and described the exact cause / effect reasoning of how things actually ended up unfolding they deserve recognition. Extra + if they had the conviction to make some good $ off of it
