Welcome Avatar! By the end of this post, we’ll put an end to all the questions around a “good demand test”. You’ll understand if you have something that is close, a home run or a total disaster. Before anyone gets upset, you should also realize that there is a zero percent shot (none) that your first Ad will be ideal.

If you do not hit the initial conversions on your first ever add, but are off by say 20%, that’s actually good. It means your next iteration will be closer to industry and your third is most likely going to hit it (rough example).

If you have been doing ads for 10+ years and you are 20%+ off with no idea what went wrong? Then you know you’re cooked and best to go to a different product. As always, making ads/making money/running a biz is no different than playing a sport. Don’t make your first day compare to a vet. Don’t get delusional if you’re a vet and things are way off.
