What is the BowTied Jungle?

Welcome Avatar! We try to avoid explaining the jungle every month. That said we had a ton of new people show up due to new publicity (Link → Coindesk Influencer Award) and the massive success people have had. So. Welcome!

The BowTied Jungle is an attempt to make the world’s first digital country by 2035.

Part 1: Current Progress

Today, The BowTied Jungle is largely a niche online community where we send traffic and look for talented people in any niche *for free*. Our estimate is all online money (we don’t count as we’re effectively the organizers) is around ~$3,000,000/year (Jungle alive for ~18 months).

Before more haters come in, we don’t run ads and most of the revs are info products, SaaS or E-com. This means profit margin average is easily 50%+.

Unlike other influencer models we *don’t* flex and recommend you don’t either. Our biggest flex is how much *other* anons can make with the power of this new concept (men, women, teenagers, older people, 3rd world, first world… all are present here!).

After you start earning money we suggest lying down telling people you make at *max* a living wage of around $5-10K a month. In fact, we’re the exact opposite of the lambo/ferrari/flex crowd and are actually homeless. So homeless we didn’t even make the earnings list to be disclosed later in this article.

BowTiedBull: The background here is disclosed on every post. These articles are *opinions* written by an anonymous group of Ex-Wall Street Tech Bankers and software engineers who moved into affiliate marketing and e-commerce.

That’s more than enough about us. More important? How many businesses *you* can spin up on the interwebz.

So. Take a look around. As this is a short list of all the success stories in about 18 months.

Earning - $10K+ Per Month Club

These are best estimates and some are impossible to fake even with good Opsec. For example @bowtiedox is the #1 health and fitness substack so you can easily calculate it is a $10K+/month income stream. The rest of all the people mentioned are rough estimates. *Emphasis* we will always understate the earnings since no one smart (or rich) would want to brag about their earnings unless running a bizopp scam (then you should flex hard)

BowTiedOx: This one is easy to check. BowTiedOx was the first person to join the jungle! Immediately saw he was talented in health and fitness (diet, weight lifting etc.). In a year and a half he’s already earning over $120,000+ per year with verifiable proof.

BowTiedSalesGuy: Another 6-figure wifi money business. This is the guy to go to if you need sales information. His Twitter account alone already has enough “alpha” to be followed immediately.

BowTiedDevil: Elite tech knowledge. While niche, it resulted in an individual earning 100+ eth by following his information. Yes seriously. Someone subscribed to his tech info and was able to win a bounty worth of $100,000 US Tokens. You can ping him on twitter for the details and proof.

DeFi Team: Iguana/Brain/NightOwl: No Introduction needed, they cover niche crypto topics and can be found here. For their twitter profiles here you go: BowTiedBrain, BowTiedIguana, BowTiedNightOwl

BowTiedCyber: Entry level cyber security careers. Not exactly sure how this is being scaled out (as you can see there are too many success stories to count already). That said, it’s a niche for those interested in Cyber. Update Cyber informed us this is the correct range.

Earning - $1,000 to $9,999 per month

CryptoMouse - *Jungle* related income is in the thousands. That said this anon is one of the highest earning if we include items outside of the Jungle. Put mouse here as a fair balanced approach (only jungle income counts). Otherwise mouse would be in the first category (easily and likely the highest)

Note: felt mouse needed a mention due to guest posts here but similar to DgenFren has items outside the Jungle.

DgenFren: Another in-between that we *can’t* take full credit for. As usual try to be as accurate about the history of the jungle as possible. NightOwl found him for great memes and marketing. At the time DgenFren was already doing memes for other people as well. Either way, DgenFren is chief of memes for the jungle. (Yes seriously $100,000+ a year for memes).

BowtiedGator & BowtiedFawn - Combined likely $10,000-15,000 a month. Dental products, skin care.

We don’t know the exact set up for their E-com side. However. Fawn (she) and Gator (he) have separate niches in skincare and dental. They have also worked together on a successful e-com store!

Fun Fact: Gator only started in June of 2022 and Fawn started about a year ago.

BowTiedOctopod

BowTiedCocoon: Entry level sales info. If you’re looking to break into an entry level sales position that will have good career upside, cocoon is the person to go to.

BowTiedSystems: Resident ZoomInfo expert. Deep Tech with massive potential for upside. We’re praying we can help this anon scale since the upside for everyone (Jungle *AND* ZoomInfo) is massive.

BowTiedPickle: Description is clear as day, solidity dev. Web 3.0 info and other technical information. We’ve brought Pickle in for various posts more specific to crypto.

BowTiedTamarin and BowTiedTurkey: Video content! Elite to say the least, professional video making for the Jungle and anyone else interested in making Movie level quality content.

BowTiedTikTok: Most successful teenager in the Jungle (so far?). That is correct. A teenager is already knocking on 6-digit wifi money related to the Jungle. Equal Opportunity, Unequal Results.

Our view on politics is that you’re voting for two people… both of them don’t care about you or have any interest in your success. You should be able to succeed every year no matter what (don’t blame or expect a president to fix your life).

BowTiedApollo - Art based income stream. Provides info about art as well.

BowTiedMahi, BowTiedApu, BowTiedKoala and BowTiedClubPro : E-commerce. Per usual, as noted at the top of the post. Better to lump together to maintain anonymity. That said all are in the E-com world.

Conclusion

In short, the goal is to make *you* a millionaire. Not “flex” on you and sell you a dream. This is possible it just isn’t easy.

Based on the the current numbers (with minimal growth!) about 5-7 people will make ~$1,000,000 *profit* in 4-5 years online... as a Cartoon Animal.

Part 2: Who Can Join? Anyone. Equal Opportunity, Unequal Results

Before people make stuff up. We don’t care what you look like: name, age, race, sex or location. As you can see, all the cartoon animals have none of those disclosures. We gave out a few since they mentioned publicly if they were men/women.

The motto here is in the title: Equal Opportunity, Unequal Results

How it Works: If you’re talented join the jungle. Get involved on Twitter, Discord or however you see fit. As your name spreads your account grows and more people will recommend you *if* you are talented. If you’re not adding anything specific and didn’t choose a niche = extremely difficult to grow.

To be clear, anyone can join and learn.

If you want to build something niche? We suggest thinking it through before jumping in.

Also. The Jungle had grown a *ton* over the last year and we’re hoping to grow even more during 2023. Our guess is the next 2 years will be the toughest as we try to scale out into other media outlets (social media and maybe even the real world).

Win or Lose… Going All Out

Will the long-term plan of building a digital country work? Who knows. The size of that idea already suggests that it is low probability.

That said, is there any downside? Not really. In a worst case scenario, we create a ton of jobs/businesses and people make money along the way (as seen already).

General Guidelines

No matter what, if you use the internet long enough you’ll be baited into low quality arguments, you will be harassed by strange people asking for absurd requests and of course you’ll meet many scammers along the way. While we’ve been scammed several times over the past decade, over the long-term you learn to spot talent and grow despite all the hate thrown your way.

"Promote or Ignore” This is the motto.

Promote: This means the goal is to find talented people and highlight them. This works as we’ve seen with BowTiedGatorDDS who went from nothing to 25K+ followers in 6 months and a multi thousand dollar business (probably close to $10-15K a month at this point).

Ignore: No matter what you do some people will hate you. We have a ton of strange people that hate us and that’s entirely fine. The goal is to control emotions and *don’t* engage. The only time you want to engage is where you can prove *verifiably* that they have it wrong.

This allows you to take market share. Otherwise if someone is negative just block them or mute them. Any interactions you give them = making them money! Remember that.

In 2022 and beyond, attention is the only currency that matters. Give haters none.

Feel Free to Laugh at Our Failures

Like any normal person, no one will shoot 100%. No one will be perfect 24/7/365. That type of expectation is just unreasonable.

Therefore if people still dislike us and this big picture project, you’re free to watch us from the shadows and laugh at every mistake we make. We’ll continue to break things moving at 1,000 mph.

If we fail, we’re already homeless anyway so no real downside.

Part 3: The 2023 Plan and Beyond

Item 1 - Traffic Broadening Out: The main item we want the jungle to focus on in 2023 is broadening out traffic sources. Don’t really care which traffic source fits your niche best. The goal is to make it into various other platforms for diversity.

Item 2 - Content Broadening Out: On our side we’re going to begin messing with *video* content again. Tried it a bit in 2020 and it was tough. Researched again and found new people to help. Will see how that works

Item 3 - Closing DMs: We got absolutely hammered with 100s of meaningless messages. We’ve noticed that the only people with good ideas are willing to spend the whopping $10 to contact us privately. This is why we’re locking our DMs for now. If someone wants our advice and can’t afford a coffee per month they are not serious about wanting our advice in the first place (which is fine by the way). Also. If someone really has a good idea they should be willing to risk a whopping $10 to find you anyway.

Item 4 - Broaden Out Marketing: Before we ran all the Troll Tuesday giveaways. After a scammer came in and messed it all up, we’re broadening out to working with other companies and individuals. We worked with Scottsdale Mint recently. If that product is shipped we can continue working with them from time to time. We’ll be on the look out for other various companies as well.

Item 5 - Lifestyle Items: Since we’re heading into a downturn we’re building out lifestyle information that we haven’t written about in over 5-6 years. This will be part of the paid content (no additional subscription needed). Should be a good time for it as people take a few weeks off if they are cut/laid off due to the recession.

Item 6 - Focusing Even More on Organic: We worked in some advisory type roles in the past and used a chunk of the money to fund the Jungle Treasury. Going forward we will unwind them and unlikely do any more of them (near-term) until we figure out a better vetting process. Not a big deal. We realized organic self built has the best return by a factor of many multiples.

Other: Can’t spill it all since we’re new. However. We’ll still be building out the jungle treasury. We will continue to find talented people. And. We do have a long-term plan when we reach enough scale.

Can’t give all that out otherwise we would shoot ourselves in the foot (the scammers and grifters are always circling this website as we learned in the past).
