would you recommend buying some land in argentina right now as a foreigner (canadian)? i own a small beef ranch in Canada, but i'm thinking of moving to greener pastures somewhere down south either colombia or argentina. thanks!
I think there’s no rush in terms of catching a bottom, it will be a while before RE picks up again or Milei’s policies start showing results. If you plan on living there yourself then absolutely, there’s many acres up for grabs right now
thanks. do you get a lot of foreign buyers purchasing land? coming from canada i'm a bit concerned about property rights in developing countries, are there foreign buyers who have held their land for 50+ years?
Property rights for personal property is no issue in Argentina (many foreigners own big plots of land). The main issue in Argentina is if you become too big as a company for the government’s liking and do not play ball. But private citizens zero issues. I remember BTB saying 2? years ago, after EL Salvador, Argentina could be one of the next 2 countries to move towards Bitcoin.
