Canceled Netflix to buy this substack. Best. Decision. Ever.

The content of all 3 combined would be worth more than any of my old college lectures. Glad to see this is a possibility.

Not related to this post but MCDEX team is running a bounty program until May. Someone recommended that on a prior post in the Substack. Received some MCDEX from sending an identified problem to the MCDEX team. Would recommend anyone interested in MCDEX to check that one out from Medium and follow those instructions.

Would it be a good idea to start a Discord channel for the paid subs?

Pros:

- Dynamic interactions: a place for the jungle animals to talk.

- Discussing & explaining the latest substack posts to degens that are falling behind ( to digest the information so they can make it to Degen Island)

- Share thoughts & knowledge on crypto related topics etc.

Yes this has come up a lot for now we have to hire the right people for DeFi. After that we'll do the other items (we'll have 6 months to look at ancillary jungle building). Assuming DeFi breaks even, we'll look into L2/NFTs/Other in crypto then onto jungle investing. As outlined in the "master plan"

They never even linked it seems like a total mess, if we ever get it will probably just give it to followers since they took weeks and still never let us link up

Hey guys, I am a college student. I just got the substack yesterday so I dont have any emails from the substack to respond to about your old books but I am definitely interested. If you can please provide me with an email I’ll send an email over from my .edu email with proof of being a student this year.

No. This is equal opportunity unequal results we do not have back door conversations about random coins. No exceptions.

Awesome! we won't have it any other way.

You guys mentioned on twitter if we join the jungle and have a side hustle might get more exposure.

Does this mean making a new twitter account with a jungle animal name or changing our existing handles?

It means if you have a BowTied(anything) account and are on twitter, it is a lot easier for us to see your posts if it is good. We will follow the jungle account which is an aggregator.

For example the first guy we noticed was some OX guy posting fitness stuff. So since he claims to be ripped, we funded a Deadlift competition for $300 for the winner.

Stuff like that will happen

Other example, some "BowTiedChimp" is good at graphic design. So he is making logos for people as a side hustle for a few bucks.

Who knows how it evolves but we have a 110K followers so it's just more likely we find you if it's in the jungle. Just mathematically. No one needs to join and anyone can leave whenever they want

This is great. Only thought I had concerns question two to part two, "would you invest in the project yes or no." I like the bottom-line requirement. And I defer to your experience or judgment. But in my experience, if a question like this doesn't (explicitly) incorporate opportunity cost, people tend towards saying "yes" unless the answer is "clearly no." So maybe something like, "what, if anything, would you give up to invest in this / what, if anything, would you say 'no' to to invest in this / what percent, if anything, of your portfolio would you lock up for x years in this investment / etc."

I know this sort of opportunity-cost consideration is difficult to address in this exercise (as distinct from addressing it going forward in the context of broader portfolio construction criteria), but wanted to throw the notion out there as food (hopefully not grasshoppers) for thought.

New young guy here, I'm still trying to learn more about the crypto world.

What wallet would you guys recommend using in order to gain some sort of passive income on your crypto currency?

I got a few recommendations on using Celsius. Not sure how I feel about that, since it's a hot wallet, and could be hacked.

No problem. You're behind but if you digest 75% of the above + keep up afterwards, you'll make it.

Risk your crypto stack to earn like 10% on an asset that has gone up hundreds of percent and will go up thousands % in the future?

I don't know what the official stance is here, but the risk of staking doesn't seem worth it to me. I just keep everything in cold storage.

Agree entirely. Your 10% APY on a single Bitcoin comes with the potential opportunity cost of losing an asset worth 1 million USD.You can always put some smaller amounts into hot wallets though.
