On the issue of forming a WY LLC, are you guys both residents of WY? If not, friendly heads up to be cautious about how you're structuring things. There's a lot of legally wrong advice out there on WY LLCs. The top one is that you don't have to register in your home state. Even ecomm businesses have to register in their home state.

Can you talk more about the issues you faced with Shopify and doing a pre-sale? I am in the early stages of development on a product and want to do a pre-sale to gauge demand, but have heard numerous times in the jungle about Shopify issues. Any more details (and how you mitigated these issues) would be great to know!
