Wanted to share some of the biggest mistakes I made in investing. I’ve learned you can be right on a trend, but wrong on the profits. Example: cannabis stocks. I thought, legalization is a no brainer, get in early on a budding (pun intended) industry. Wrong. My stocks got demolished. Even worse I didn’t have stop losses which dented my portfolio. Example: Bitcoin miners. Bought at the top to give my portfolio more exposure to BTC. Cratered 80% or more. I would have been better off just owning NASDAQ or S&P ETFs.

Good way to avoid this is by monitoring search trends, if it's trending and up big usually bad, if no one is searching - great sign

I love that you speak so highly of crypto! We don’t really see that much. Could be because you’re anonymous :)

Bull, how do I know if my wifi biz idea is no good or if my copy is just trash? If my copy is trash then I could run through thousands of ideas without any traction. That is where i fear that i am at now. Is that a common feeling pre hit? PS I have read most of your suggested copywriting books and zig ziglar so i am not going in blind.

You should look at the conversion rate, if your rate is always extremely bad (say 1%) then its the sales part

Good way to test is by selling something that already converts (IE. affiliate) and see if your ads are at least close to industry level

How much ad spend would you say is sufficient to make a decision and move on? I appreciate you taking the time to respond.
