We’re going to discuss high-level implications from the debate which should make you extremely happy to be alive. Specifically, there is no chance (quite literally 0%) that Biden is making massive decisions on the behalf of the USA. There is no way to watch the debate and believe he is cognitively all there.
While the typical NPC may think this is a “zinger” against the Dem party, it is actually bigger than that. It means that no President is making serious decisions for the USA. It is largely a fake position created to distract and entertain the masses. If anyone thinks the president determines their ability to succeed, just look at the debate last night.
Part 1: Game Theory and Entertainment
If you care about trying to win the election (on the left), your best bet is going to be Gavin. He is handsome and well spoken when he needs to be. He is presentable and will absolutely murder the female vote who primarily votes based on who they find most attractive. He is 100x better than Biden in every regard for garnering votes.
Example
The Game Theory Problem: There is a major issue here. Gavin might not be interested in running this year. If he had the entire time to run it would be much easier to win. Considering this would look like a last ditch effort, it reduces the chances of winning. He is a sociopath, not brain-dead left IQ 10 points.
The second issue is that there is no real way to fix all the issues in the USA within 4 years. It is simply insane/unreasonable to expect it. This sets up the 2025-2028 term to be difficult for anyone sitting in office. Unless you have a plan to “un-print” $10,000,000,000,000 and somehow keep the boomers happy (overpriced large homes while population is in decline).
The third issue is that we’re in a real messy tech phase. Whoever is sitting in office has to decide on AI/chip technology, crypto and Big Tech making up practically all the gains in the economy. Big power/monopolies are not easy to split up without enraging a large number of people all at once.
The fourth and final issue is all of the wars across the globe. Ukraine/Russia still going on. Issues in the Middle East pop up every year but the past four have been worse than usual.
Add It All Up? Is this an election you even want to win? Doesn’t seem particularly great and too many hard decisions have to be made. Also. By having two guys running in their 80s, the chances of caring about the next generation is slim to none. We already learned that from the prior generations.
Therefore, while Gavin is a much better person to run, he may not even be interested due to risk of not running a real campaign. Our guess? Trump wins, large deregulation/money printing narrative and we get into even more wealth inequality.
Our general thesis is the same, no politician will make decisions to benefit the younger generation. We’ve already seen that with the push towards lowering population growth, immigration for tax revenue and insane wealth inequality. In short, if you’re not long tech/crypto, best of luck to you! We’re confident humans are all designed to obsess over short term benefits, fast money and general selfishness.
Politics is the Same as Entertainment
At this point, all of the debates are just soap operas. You had CNN give up at the end and suggest a replacement is needed. Signaling that mainstream media is either trying to push for change or purposely looking to lose this election.
If you saw the highlights, absolutely nothing useful was said beyond zingers and bland political talking points. In fact, at one point they were arguing about who had a better Golf swing. We’re really just watching a reality TV show where the most entertaining/popular person is going to be elected.

Part 2: USA is a Large Organization with Issues
Anyone who says that you can just throw money at a problem to solve an issue (for a major company/country) is coping. They’ve never run anything in their lives and they can’t do basic research.
Every 3-7 years a new company emerges and displaces another major company. This has happened for ages. Apple crushed BlackBerry. Netflix crushed Blockbuster. Google crushed Yahoo. Internet killed Tower Records/CDs. So on and so forth.
All of these companies had tons of money and yet they all lost despite having money. Countries are no different. The problem continues to be the team vs. just the president.
Senate and Congress is Too Old: The average age of a sitting Senator is about 64 years old. We didn’t bother checking it perfectly (simple search) and anything in the mid-60s is pure embarrassment. None of these individuals have any idea how technology works. Yet they are in charge of making major decisions
Move onto Congress and it is slightly better with the average age being 58. Once again, too old to understand basic stuff related to technology. Majority probably never edited a basic website in their entire lives. Actually, we’d say none of them have ever tried to edit a website.
President Powell is Old: For those that have read us, we view him as the real President of the USA. Assuming he is actually making decisions. The guy printed $10,000,000,000,000 and can change the cost of borrowing money with the click of a button. It is a complete circus and even this guy is 71 years old.
That is insane. We’re making decisions based on his historical references to the 1970s. This makes absolutely no sense as the world in 1970s is not comparable to the 2020s. We’ve got robotics, software/AI, work from home, major changes in population, completely different debt levels and more!
Conclusion: Pretty clear conclusion from all of this. Since the decision makers are all old, none care or have interest in helping generations from their grave. This means the lean is going to be towards? Wealth Inequality.
Expect the decision making to benefit asset holders. Create equity. Don’t focus on your career/W-2. Just hit the performance metrics and be likable while pretending the paychecks don’t exist. If you find yourself at a sweatshop W-2 (bad luck), switch ASAP until you can get into a bloated environment where it is easy to skate by.
Part 3: You Should Focus on Becoming a Sovereign Individual
This has been a theme for a while and is accelerating. We’re starting to see pop culture recognize this. In the 2010s, people obsessed over being “alpha males”. That has now shifted to a focus on “Sigma Males”. There is some truth in what is trending they just haven’t figured out that Sigma Male is really going to morph into a Sovereign Individual.
Set Up to Scale: You don’t really need a large team to build anything anymore. Look at something like Tether and its massive profits with practically no employees. The Industrial Age is over. Having a high head count does not mean you are growing or succeeding anymore. It just signals that you’re a bad human resource manager and you don’t have any idea how to scale with technology.
Comically, having a fast growing headcount (outside of ultra small start up) just says you’re falling behind at this point. The smart big tech companies are already cutting heads for the middle layer (rapidly!). The skill difference is shrinking between younger and older employers due to tooling improvements.
Earn Online: Beating a dead horse. Considering that governments are certainly not up to speed on tech you should assume no geographic location is safe. No need to anticipate that a particular country goes to zero tomorrow. However, you should have a plan B in a worst case scenario. If your money is tied to the internet, you can change states, countries, etc. No geographic risk. In a world of EMP attacks another 10 IQ conspiracies, the world is already a zero anyway so don’t worry about that scenario.
Summary
Yes we think Trump wins but it honestly doesn’t matter. The debates have given the world verifiable proof that the President is just a puppet/sitting figure to distract/entertain.
The sitting president never determines success or failure. While policies do, we already know that those policies are written by people around age 60. Therefore you already know what they will vote for, kicking the can, printing money, asset inflation and zero interest in long-term decisions that hurt them and benefit people in 40 years (when they are in the grave already).
On that note, enjoy the show! The debate was visible proof that the President is just a fake job.

If the past 8 years have proved anything it is indeed that President is just a figurehead. I turned off the debate after 5 minutes. One elderly person was trying to make a poor argument that he is should be allowed to drive. The other elderly person is claiming he is the best driver ever when everyone just saw him driving on the sidewalk
